This inverter technology unit makes electrode welding easier thanks to direct current and its low power consumption
(230V-16A power supply).

It has an adjustment range of 10 to 170 A.
The digital amperage display allows you to be more precise in your work.

TIG welding allows you to weld thin thicknesses that you could not achieve with an electrode in MMA mode.

Welding possible on steel, stainless steel, copper, nickel... from 0.5 mm thickness.

TIG welding mode requires the use of a shielding gas during the welding operation (pure Argon).

Arc striking is achieved by touching the tip of the tungsten electrode to the metal workpiece and lifting it slightly to create the welding arc (TIG-LIFT striking method).

It features protection (+/- 15% variation) against electrical overloads, allowing it to be powered by a generator. However, the generator must supply a stabilized current.

Equipped with the following systems:
HOT START to facilitate arc striking, ANTI-STICKING which eliminates the problem of the electrode sticking to the workpiece, and ARC FORCE which increases the arc power when the welding arc is kept short.
VRD: This device reduces the voltage when the welding unit is switched on but not in welding mode; it thus ensures the welder's safety should they accidentally touch the electrode.

Supplied in a carry case with:

1 TIG torch 110 A with valve, gas opening valve on the torch; length 4 m.
This torch is fitted with a ceramic nozzle and a tungsten electrode Ø 1.6 mm.
1 flow meter for refillable gas cylinder.
1 MMA electrode holder allowing the use of rutile or basic electrode rods from Ø 1.6 to 4 mm, cable length 3 m.
1 earth clamp + cable length 3 m.

ESAB Rogue ET 181i Tig welding machine

Rogue ET181i is a DC HF-start TIG and MMA welding machine built with the latest inverter technologies to guarantee an extremely stable welding arc, ideal for working on steel, stainless steel, brass, cast iron...

The electronic boards of the Rogue ET181i are protected by a special coating that insulates them from moisture and dust (IP23S protection). The body is very robust and the dimensions are compact in order to allow the operator to transport and use this welding machine in a workshop or on a job site even in adverse environmental conditions.

The Rogue ET181i can generate a maximum welding current of 180 A and has a duty cycle of 116 A at 60%; these characteristics make this welding machine ideal for installation, maintenance and light metalwork.

The control panel of the Rogue ET181i is easy to use and the convenient LCD screen allows the operator to accurately view the welding parameters. From the control panel, it is possible to modify the TIG welding parameters to adapt the process to the needs the operator must face: LIFT or HF trigger mode, pre and post gas, initial and final current, up and down slope, 2T or 4T.

If you use the Rogue ET181i in MMA mode for MMA welding (electrode holder optional), it is possible to select the percentage of Arc-Force and hot start that best suits the welder's operating style; furthermore, from the control panel, it is possible to select the welding mode for CELLULOSE-coated electrodes.

The Rogue ET 181i comes with:

- Instruction manual
- Shoulder strap for transport
- ESAB SR26 TIG torch 4 metres with a grey Cerium tungsten electrode Ø 2.4 mm)
- Ground cable 16mm2 cross-section - length 3 m
- Gas hose with quick connector

This machine replaces the ESAB ROGUE ET180i model and additionally features the PULSE function compared to that previous model.

The Pulse function of the Rogue allows welders to better control heat input and arc stability. The controlled pulse action helps create a stable arc, avoiding excessive spatter and minimizing the risk of weld defects or the need for post-weld cleaning. The Rogue's Pulse technology facilitates penetration and fusion in the welding process, which is essential for creating strong and durable weld beads and for ensuring the structural integrity of manufactured components. Pulse technology helps minimize the heat-affected zone, thereby reducing the likelihood of material distortion or unforeseen metallurgical changes.

This unit enables welding with tungsten electrodes (TIG welding) on steel, stainless steel, copper, nickel...including aluminium.

It also allows welding with rutile or basic electrodes (MMA welding kit optional).

It comes with a 140A TIG torch with trigger, 4 m in length, plus a ground clamp.

It features the following functions:

TIG LIFT: Facilitates electrode striking.

TIG HF High-frequency arc starting WITHOUT CONTACT

TIG 2T/4T (manual or automatic welding)

TIG SPOT enables tack welding of parts prior to welding.

HOT START adjustable: additional starting power for electrodes that are difficult to strike.

SLOPE DOWN adjustable: this system eliminates arc extinction, thereby preventing crater formation at the end of the weld bead.

ARC FORCE: This process increases amperage when the welding arc is held short, which has the effect of increasing penetration and the mechanical strength of the weld bead.

ANTI STICKING: when welding with coated electrodes, prevents electrode overloading and thus preserves its characteristics.

TIG BI LEVEL: two different welding current parameters can be selected during the welding process, PRE-GAS/POST-GAS

( automatically adjusted by the microprocessor based on the current intensity and welding duration.

VRD: Improves safety during welding operations in damp environments

It also features the PULSE function, particularly suitable for welding thin sheet metal where low heat input to the workpiece is required, and adapted for welding in all positions.
As the pulse frequency increases, arc stability increases and therefore welding precision improves as well.
It also features the EASY PULSE system, allowing immediate welding in pulsed mode even if the welder is not accustomed to TIG welding, thanks to automatic parameter adjustment.

THINSPOT function, enabling fast and precise spot welding.

For connecting the unit to gas, it is recommended to use fitting 804208.

The TITANIUM 230 AC/DC FV is a single-phase TIG AC/DC welding generator. Intelligent and connected, it offers extremely precise arc control and industrial welding performance up to 230 A (16 A fuse) thanks to its integrated power factor corrector. It combines excellent ergonomics and an exceptional user experience with advanced welding functions

6 TIG WELDING MODES
DC Standard: welding with smooth current on the majority of ferrous materials.
DC Pulsed: allows parts to be assembled while limiting heat input (pulses up to 2.5 kHz).
FastPulse: pulses up to 20 kHz on special steels.
AC Standard: welding of aluminium and its alloys (Al, AlSi, AlMg, AlMn, etc).
AC Pulsed: precise control of penetration according to the AC frequency setting (pulses up to 500 Hz).
AC Mix: alternation of AC and DC current to increase welding speed

TIG WIZARD SOLUTION
Patented synergic mode for maximum productivity with tacking and welding of Aluminium, Steel, Stainless Steel and Copper parts with or without filler metal.
5 joint types: Butt weld (BW), Fillet weld (FW), Inside corner (BP), Outside corner and wire splicing.
Wizard Lab for the creation of complex welding cycles

OPTIMISED SETTINGS
4 tacking modes:
- Spot / Multi Spot: traditional tacking before welding thin sheet metal.
- Tack / Multi Tack: ultra-precise tacking without oxidation reducing the risk of distortion.
3 arc start types: Lift, HF and Touch.HF (timed high-frequency arc start).
3 trigger modes: 2T, 4T and 4T LOG
AC waveform settings favouring arc control and penetration.
E-TIG mode ensures the welder maintains the welding power regardless of the torch position relative to the workpiece (welding energy control).
